Our Center for Professional Studies and Continuing Education (CPSCE) is here to provide that opportunity.

In addition to its world-renowned degree programs, the University’s Center for Professional Studies and Continuing Education has developed an extensive array of post-secondary, non-degree courses and programs. These offerings meet the professional development needs of individuals working in the sports industry, keeping them up-to-date on the latest practices in their profession. The CPSCE’s Continuing Education programs have also helped people worldwide secure educational credentials for employment in the sports, health, and fitness industries.

The University’s Continuing Education courses are largely drawn from the institution’s degree programs, ensuring well-developed course objectives and desired student learning outcomes (SLOs). Students enrolling online in these courses enjoy the same flexibility and convenience as the University’s degree-seeking students, with rolling registration and asynchronous course delivery. This approach allows students to study on their schedule, not the institution’s.

Continuing Education programs offer a hierarchical approach to professional development. Students may enroll in individual courses, combine three courses into a sport certification, six courses into another certification, or ten courses plus an internship into a sport diploma. Students can satisfy one level of study and use that work to progress to the next level in the educational hierarchy.
