Senior Leadership

Dr. Steve Condon

Dr. Steve Condon is the third President of the United States Sports University. He holds degrees from Boston College, Florida State, Alabama, Mississippi, and Harvard. Prior to joining USSU in January 2023, Dr. Condon served as Dean or Vice President at Huntingdon, Lambuth, St. Thomas, LeTourneau, and Reinhardt universities, as well as President or Chancellor of Tennessee Wesleyan, John Wesley, and Carolina universities.

Over a 44-year career, he has become best known for enrollment growth, fundraising success, and building dynamic teams, while also distinguishing himself in athletics as a championship golf coach—winning four national titles and earning gold and silver medals at the 1986 and 1988 World Championships. He has additionally served as Athletic Director at Jeff Davis, Huntingdon, St. Thomas, Reinhardt, and Carolina universities. Dr. Condon is married to Rebecca, and they have two children, Kurt and Alexis.

Dr. Brandon Spradley

Dr. Spradley earned his B.S. and M.S. from The University of Alabama and his Ed.D. from the United States Sports University. Dr. Spradley provides strategic leadership for the university’s academic programs and oversees faculty and staff within the academic division. Previously, he was Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and led the development and implementation of USSU’s undergraduate business administration and MBA programs and has been instrumental in guiding the sports management program to achieve ACBSP accreditation while advancing sport-education initiatives internationally.

Beyond his academic leadership, he is known as a mentor and community-minded leader, recognized in Mobile, Alabama, and active in service alongside his family.

Vicki Dunaway

Vicki holds a B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Midway University and a Master of Public Administration from Kentucky State University. At the United States Sport University, Vicki oversees university’s annual budgets, provides fiscal analysis and strategic direction, and manages a variety of departments including business affairs, human resources, information technology, and financial aid. Prior to joining USSU in July 2025, she served over 30 years in a variety of roles at the University of Kentucky, including healthcare finance and university administration.

Outside of work, Vicki enjoys reading and college sports, proudly cheering on her alma mater, UK. She and her husband, Mark, love spending time with extended family and treasure making memories with their two granddaughters.

Shealynn Miller

Shealynn Miller holds a B.A. in Communications – Sport Management from High Point University and an M.B.A. from Queens University of Charlotte, bringing a strong blend of sport leadership, strategic communication, and business expertise to the United States Sports University. She joined the USSU staff in 2023 and leads key university functions including enrollment services, marketing, operations and logistics, student life, advancement, and alumni relations, helping guide institutional growth and student success.

She also serves as USSU’s Director of Athletics. Shealynn draws on a professional background in higher education marketing, advancement, athletics leadership, and enrollment services.
