Master’s Admission Requirements

The United States Sports University welcomes dedicated professionals seeking to advance their careers in the sports industry through our master’s programs. We look for applicants with a strong academic background and relevant professional experience.

Academic criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Must be from an accredited institution.
  • GPA: Minimum GPA requirement of 2.75
  • One professional reference letters; two are recommended

Application Materials

Completed Application: Submit your online application form.

  • Copy of government issued identification.
  • Official Transcripts: Provide transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. These should be sent directly to:

  • Personal Statement: A 2–3 page APA-formatted personal statement articulating professional and academic background, career goals, and alignment with USSU’s mission.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) : A current CV or professional résumé detailing education, work experience, certifications, and professional accomplishments.
  • At least one (1) professional or academic letter of recommendation is required; two (2) are recommended. Recommendations will be submitted through a secure JotForm generated by the Admissions Office.

Required Academic Criteria:

  • Credential Evaluation: Submit an official course-by-course evaluation showing the equivalent of 30 transferable undergraduate credits.
  • English Proficiency: Use school code 1885 for all test submissions.
  • TOEFL: Minimum score of 79 (Internet-based)
  • IELTS: Minimum score of 6.0 (Academic Module)
  • Duolingo: Minimum score of 100
