The United States Sports University will communicate alerts and warnings that affect the Daphne, AL campus in an accurate and timely, using Alert Solutions. Alerts and warnings may be sent via voice mail, text, or official USSU email. Alerts and warnings may use one or all three forms of communication. The subject matter of the alerts will be limited to safety concerns and USSU business disaster situations.

Possible alerts can include, but are not limited to the following:

• Fire Emergency
• Weather Emergencies
  • Tornado
  • Hurricane
• Threat/Act of Violence
  ◦ Civil Disturbance
  ◦ Bomb Threat
  ◦ Interpersonal Emergencies

The publishing of an alert message using Alert Solutions will be executed by the President/CEO, the Director of Administration and Finance, or their assigned designees.
